CRY for JUSTICE can’t be stopped, 4 years after the Maguindanao Massacre where 58 civilians including 32 mediamen were brutally killed in Barangay Masalay, Ampatuan, Maguindanao.
The very slow-paced justice system in the Philippines is evident in the case of Maguindanao massacre, after 4 years since the massacre happened in November 23, 2009, families of the victims are still facing a blank wall and keep ‘crying for justice.’
The very sad reality about this was reported by the Philippine Star which says that certain groups “sabotaged” the commemoration of the 4th anniversary of the massacre last Saturday (November 23, 2013) in Maguindanao. Read more →
The 35th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) gives the ‘Best Public Service Program’ award to DZRH radio program “Katumbas Ay Biyaya” which I am the main host with the resource persons from National Nutrition Council (NNC).
The Katumbas Ay Biyaya program, now on it’s Season 8 is aired once a week over DZRH 666 Khz AM every Saturday at 10 to 11 am., discussing variety of topics about proper nutrition of the Filipino people.

It is exactly 11th day today, November 19 after Yolanda devastated most areas in Central Visayas on November 8 2013. Two days after the Yolanda devastation, authorities only recorded at least 4 dead but as days pass by, the number of casualties went up to thousands.
As of this writing, it is estimated that the death toll could reach as high as 5, 000 though the official count of National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) the confirmed deaths at 3, 982.
Joint Task Force Cadaver says, it recovered 903 more bodies in the past two days and if added to the present figure could reach 4, 885 and more bodies are expected to be recovered in the coming days especially in the remote areas.
